Event Requests

For Inquiring Authors and Presses

Literati’s Fiction at Literati Series, Poetry at Literati Series, and select non-fiction and panel events are primarily booked through our relationship with major publishers, their imprints, and the small and local presses we work with. Due to scheduling demands and limited resources, we cannot accommodate all event requests, but we are always open to reviewing them. We ask that event inquiries be made at least two months from the proposed date (or range of proposed dates), and that inquiring authors (or presses) fill out this form (also found at the bottom of this page) and email it to events@literatibookstore.com

For University Departments, Private Organizations, Businesses, and Libraries

Literati is available as a full-service bookseller for local author appearances, panels, or special occasions for university departments, private organizations, businesses, conferences, libraries and more in the greater Ann Arbor area. Literati will handle orders, staff, and sell books at your location. Please note that due to scheduling demands and limited resources, we cannot accommodate all event requests.  To best assist you, we ask that off-site event inquiries be made at least two months from the proposed date. Please fill out this form (also found at the bottom of this page) and email it to events@literatibookstore.com.

Private Events, Receptions, and Space Rentals

Sometimes, we host weddings, events, shindigs, brew ha-ha's, and other private events in our building. (It is rare, but we do it.) However, our availability for space rental is incredibly limited. We will field requests and ask that you fill out this form and email it to mike@literatibookstore.com. Also, Please note that we require at least 1-2 months notice to accommodate a full rental request. Also, due to our limited availability and small space, know that event requests that take place outside of regular store hours will have a better chance at approval.
