Jodi Klein knows what it's like to date longer and later in life. A demanding career and desire to find her "Mr. Yes" led to her becoming an alumna of nearly 400 dates over the course of 26 years. She founded First Date Stories--the podcast and the blog--as a platform for women to share their tales and wisdom so that others can overcome the trials of dating in midlife and find the long-term love they seek. Jodi is an entrepreneur, a marketing executive with over two decades of high-tech experience, a real estate broker, and the president of Espoir Ventures, LLC. She is a graduate of UC Davis and holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Robin Gelfenbien is the self-proclaimed Ambassador of Fun and an NYC-based storyteller, host, writer and comedian. She’s a three-time Moth Story SLAM winner who has performed on PBS, RISK!, Mortified and countless other shows. She’s also shared the stage with comedy greats like Hannah Gadsby, Trevor Noah and more.
Robin is the Host and Creator of the critically-acclaimed storytelling show and podcast, Yum’s the Word, that features her homemade ice cream cakes. It's been featured on CBS Sunday Morning and has been named a New York Times Critic’s Pick and Time Out New York Critic’s Pick. Past guests have included Tim Gunn, Mo Rocca, Joy Behar, Jerry Greenfield (Jerry from Ben & Jerry’s), Jason Biggs, stars from “Orange is the New Black” and more.
New York Magazine called her solo show, My Salvation Has a First Name (A Wienermobile Journey), “the highlight of the Fringe”. She's also performed her original comedy songs at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and on Sirius Radio, and she starred in a commercial directed by Spike Lee.
