Poetry at Literati: Alison Swan, Fleda Brown, and friends

Friday, April 19, 2024 - 6:30pm

It’s Earth Month and we're celebrating with Poetry at Literati!

Join Fleda Brown, Teresa Scollon, Ellen Stone, and Alison Swan (host of Literati's Eco Book Club), as they read their work,  talk about eco-poetry, and answer audience questions. They’ve been poetry friends for years and share an abiding connection with plants, animals, and their (and our) habitats, and a gathering concern about their futures and ours.

Fleda Brown and Teresa Scollon live in northern Michigan. Brown’s most recent book of poems is Flying Through a Hole in the Storm, Scollon’s is Trees and Other Creatures.

Ellen Stone and Alison Swan live in Ann Arbor. Stone’s most recent book of poems is What Is in the Blood, Swan’s is A Fine Canopy
